The school commenced its functioning on 16th September, 1948 with the obj providing education to the local and refugee Sindhi Community the need of which was felt severely by the community.
The school was founded by Late Shri. M. P. Gidwani, Late. Shri. N. A. Tharwani and Late Shri. G. T. Dudia and was named Subhash A. V. School, after the great patriot of India -Subhash Chandra Bose. At that time it was housed in rented rooms having no furniture and the total strength was 25 to 30. Then with the passage of time the school started expanding and achieved great reputation in educational field. To provide necessary facilities and to fulfill all the activities it was felt to have its own building.
The school was founded by Late Shri. M. P. Gidwani, Late. Shri. N. A. Tharwani and Late Shri. G. T. Dudia and was named Subhash A. V. School, after the great patriot of India -Subhash Chandra Bose.
In the year 1972, the Society started Tailoring and Embroidery Class for the benefits of girls.
In the year 1983, saw another phase of expansion in the field of education as the society started English Primary School.
With natural growth the English Medium School became "Full Fledged High School " in the year 1992 and the Strength of English Medium School raised to more than 1300 students.
